I had such a fantastic experience here. This was easily some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. The crust was perfectly baked with just the right amount of char. The cheese was melted to perfection and the single pepper sitting right in the center was a fun touch. Everything arrived hot and tasted incredibly fresh. I will definitely be coming back soon for another slice.

Im in Lubbock on business so when I feel a restaurant that I've tried is exceptional as far as the food, service, and atmosphere; I leave a review. Capital Pizza on 26th Street is one of the restaurants that stands out in all the areas. From great service, to a nice atmosphere and of course we can't forget the delicious tasting food, I gave them 5 stars all around. They have a menu with a lot of choices ( if you happen to not be in the mood for pizza) and its all reasonably priced. There was 3 people in my party and we all got almost overly full ( lol) and spent less than $50 total ( that price i clouded an appetizer, meal, and drinks) They have gluten free menu options available too (which was perfect because a member of our party has a gluten allergy.) I totally recommend trying Capital Pizza when in Lubbock if you're looking for great food at a great price.

Someone recommended this spot for pizza. (I appreciate businesses who go the extra mile to keep their places clean, but not gonna lie, sometimes the strong cleaner smell makes me lose my appetite...) We liked that there was a cauliflower crust option. We ordered a gf and a regular crust pizza. They were pretty good. Thin crust on the body of the pizza and very thick crust edge. Only vegetarian options on the menu were cheese and margarita, but I was able to build my own (options like artichoke hearts, sautéed spinach and feta available). The greek salad was pretty good (some of the lettuce was old though), and it had green olives instead of traditional Kalamata, which was great with me as I like all olives. It was a weekend evening and it took a long time to get our order and there were only two other occupied tables. I'm sure they had a lot of phone orders on a weekend, but just be aware of a possible long wait if dining in. Someone told us you can get your pizza to go and take it with you across the street to the brewery. I definitely would have done that if we didn't need to be in and out within an hour and 15 minutes. Capitol Pizza was an awesome experience from start to finish. Our waiter was super friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The atmosphere was great—comfortable, lively, and perfect for enjoying a good meal. We ordered the cheese pizza, and it was excellent—simple, classic, and done perfectly. I honestly have no complaints about my experience at all. The next time I’m in town, I’m definitely ordering two pizzas 😂🍕. Highly recommend!

Amazing people, making amazing pizza. We were in from out of town and needed a last minute spot for 25 people the day before Thanksgiving. Not only did they accomodate our large group in a private room, but the service was above and beyond. Everyone raved about the pizza and commented how much we'd love to have this near us
